Certificate Course in Communicative English is a specially designed programme for students / parents in Educational Institutions / Other Professionals.This course aims at improving the communicative skill of the learner and attaining proficiency in English language. It will also help the candidates to speak and write correct and effective English.
The duration is spread over a period of six months from the date of admission. A candidate seeking admission to the Course can send his / her application before 10th of every month and can complete the Course within six months from the date of admission. All Candidates who submit the application on or before 10th of every month will be considered one batch. The Course is flexible and every month we start a new batch.
Course Content covers all major areas of difficulty in language developing skills. The entire material contains 90 Graded Lessons divided into Six Sections, two CDs and one DVD.

Each lesson contains specific skill-based exercises and key. There will be a Test for each section in the form of one Response Sheet / Test Paper. The candidate can write the answers in the Response Sheet once a month and send it to the Institute for valuation. Each Response Sheet will be valued and returned to the candidate with the evaluation report and key to the Response Sheet. In the first six months the candidate can complete the six Response Sheets and get the evaluation report. In the 7th month, a Final Test Paper will be sent to all the candidates. The candidate has to answer the questions in the Final Response Sheet and send it to the Institute. The Final Test Paper will be evaluated and on the basis of his / her performance, the candidate will be awarded a Course Certificate.
Anyone who has passed X Std. and is willing to improve his / her proficiency in English Language, can join the course. The Institute charges a nominal cost of Rs. 1900/- (for study materials) and the candidate should submit the application along with the Demand Draft and passport size photograph duly signed by the candidate. The Demand Draft should be in favour of Shakespeare Institute of English Studies, Chennai.
